Positions Available

Assembler

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

      • Follow defined work instructions to perform general assembly work according to IPC standards.
      • Adhere to company quality expectations.
      • Perform work within standard allotted time.
      • Follow all safety rules.
      • Maintain an orderly work station.
      • Specific duties are varied but may include:
        • wire jacket stripping
              • crimping of wire harnesses
              • soldering/tinning wires
              • assembling cables
              • braiding cables
              • preparing and inserting parts on circuit boards
              • soldering components on circuit boards
              • coating printed circuit boards
              • assembling components and subassemblies into control boxes
          • Other duties that may be assigned from time to time

      Machine Operator

      DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

          • Follow defined work instructions to operate automated machinery to complete work according to IPC standards.
          • Adhere to company quality expectations.
          • Perform work within standard allotted time.
          • Follow all safety rules.
          • Maintain an orderly work station.
          • Read and interpret blueprints and diagrams.
          • Set up, run, identify and diagnose machine issues, and adjust automated machinery within company guidelines.
          • Examples of automated machinery within the facility are:
                • Surface mount technology (SMT) assembly equipment
                • Curing ovens
                • Circuit board screen printers
                • Circuit board soldering equipment (wave solder, selective solder)
                • Automated optical inspection (AOI)
                • Axial insertion machine
              • Various automated wire cutting machines
          • Other duties that may be assigned from time to time

      Director of Operations

      DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

      1. Plan, organize, direct, and control operational activities of production, engineering, and quality areas of the company including capital planning, preventive maintenance, production process improvement, new product introductions, ISO and IPC compliance, etc.
      2. Develop and implement strategies, systems, and procedures for improving quality, production efficiency, and on-time delivery.
      3. Develop and mentor operations staff and teams and hold staff/teams accountable for achieving goals and meeting expectations.
      4. Establish and maintain appropriate systems for measuring various aspects of operations and use data to set goals, objectives, and improvement opportunities and then monitor, measure, and report on activities and results.
      5. Assure compliance to the highest level in terms of safety, environmental, legal, and housekeeping matters.
      6. Set a strong example for employees with regard to attitude, approach, accountability, professionalism, teamwork, and dedication.
      7. Provide not just management oversight and planning, but take direct responsibility for performing and completing certain tasks and projects (“roll up sleeves”).
      8. Consistently enforce company policies and procedures.  Counsel employees on performance issues or concerns and support with additional training when appropriate.
      9. Manage and control operating expenditures.
      10. Represent the company and the operations function in interactions with current and prospective customers as needed.
      11. Other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
